Webdar (hereinafter referred to as “Webdar” or “Company”) strictly complies with the personal information protection laws of the Republic of Korea, including the Personal Information Protection Act.

Article 1 (Significance of Personal Information Processing Policy)

Through the Privacy Policy, Webdar values the personal information of users who use the WEBDAR service (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”), which is an online website monitoring and analysis service (including mobile web/app) provided by the Company, and always makes every effort to protect the personal information of users.

The privacy policy has the following important meanings:

1. We provide transparent information related to “privacy protection”, such as what information the company collects, how it uses the collected information, with whom it is shared (“provided or entrusted”) as necessary, and when and how to destroy the information that has achieved the purpose of use.

2. As a data subject, we will inform you what rights you have regarding your personal information and how and how you can exercise them.

3. In the event of a privacy breach, we will inform you who you can contact and how you can help prevent further damage and repair the damage that has already occurred.

2. How to collect

Article 4 (Period of Retention and Use of Personal Information, Procedures and Methods for Destruction)

1. In principle, Webdar destroys personal information without delay when personal information becomes unnecessary, such as the expiration of the period of use of personal information, collection of personal information, and the achievement of the purpose of use. However, personal information of users will be kept as an exception only for each of the following reasons and periods: The personal information is stored and managed separately from other personal information, and destroyed after the retention period has elapsed.

2. The procedure and method of destruction of personal information are as follows.

1) Destruction procedure

Webdar selects the personal information for which the reason for destruction occurred and destroys the personal information with the approval of the person in charge of personal information protection of the company.

2) Destruction method

① Information in the form of electronic files is destroyed using a technical method that cannot reproduce the record.

② Personal information printed on paper shall be destroyed through shredding or incineration.

3) Separate storage of dormant accounts

① Separate and store the personal information of members who have not used the service for more than one year to restrict the use of the service.

② The user can cancel the dormant account through a separate procedure after switching to the dormant account.

Article 5 (Provision and Consignment of Personal Information)

1. In principle, Webdar does not provide personal information of users to the outside world. However, exceptions are made in the following cases.

1) When the user agrees in advance

① Retention period and retention information: Items that have been requested or agreed by the member, and only for the period, are retained during that period

2) In accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, or when there is a request from an investigative agency in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed by laws and regulations for the purpose of investigation

3) If an individual is provided in a form that cannot be identified for statistical preparation, academic research, or market research

2. Webdar entrusts some of the tasks necessary for the smooth provision and improvement of services to external companies. It specifies in contracts and other documents necessary for the entrusted company to safely handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, and supervises whether the trustee handles personal information safely.

Article 6 (Rights and Exercise Methods of Users and Legal Representatives)

1. Users can view, modify, or delete their personal information in 'Member Information' at any time, and request access to their personal information.

2. Users can withdraw their consent to the collection and use of personal information at any time through 'Withdrawal from Membership', etc.

3. If a user requests correction of an error in personal information, the personal information will not be used or provided until the correction is completed. In addition, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, the correction processing result will be notified to the third party without delay so that the correction can be made.

4. The rights of users and legal representatives can be processed directly on the “Member Information” page, etc., or requested through “Contact Us”.

Article 7 (Measures to secure the safety of personal information)

Webdar takes the following measures to safely manage the personal information of users.

1. We have established and implemented an internal management plan for the safe handling of personal information.

2. We reduce the possibility of leakage of personal information by minimizing the number of employees who have access to personal information and limiting their duties to those in charge.

3. We store and manage users' personal information and passwords by encrypting them.

4. Security functions are used to store personal information access records, prevent forgery and falsification, and prevent theft and loss.

5. The Company frequently backs up data in case of damage to personal information, and uses the latest anti-virus program to prevent leakage or damage of users' personal information or data.

6. For the safe storage of personal information, we have installed a system in areas where access is controlled from outside, and access control procedures are operated to prevent unauthorized access.

Article 8 (Matters Concerning Installation, Operation, and Rejection of Automatic Personal Information Collection Device)

1. Purpose of using cookies

1) In order to provide personalized services, Webdar uses' cookies' that store and retrieve usage information from time to time. A cookie is a small amount of information that a website server transmits to a user's web browser and is sometimes stored on the hard disk of the user's computer.

2) The Company can provide optimized information and specific customized services to users through the use of cookies.

3) The Company may use cookies to identify the Member and maintain the Member's login status.

2. Installation, operation and rejection of cookies

1) The user has the option to install cookies. Therefore, the user can accept or reject all cookies through the option settings of the web browser, or check each time a cookie is stored.

Article 10 (Obligations of Notice Before Revision)

If Webdar revises its privacy policy, it will notify you in advance through the “Notice”.
